| D2 High Carbon High Chrome steel - Great for short production runs.

| V2-HSS
|
| V2 is our newest exotic breed of HSS with extra Vanadium for long life. V2 offers the same wear life and performance as M2-HSS but at a 25% lower cost.

| M2-HSS Grade
|
| M2-HSS grade offers 25% longer tool life over D2-HCHC. Great for most situations.
|
| T1-HSS (18%W) Grade
|
| T1-HSS is an even longer wearing grade. 18% tungsten grade for 20% more tool life over M2-HSS
|
| Black Nitride Grade HSS
|
| M2-HSS + Black Nitide treatment. Case hardened steel offering ~ 50% longer tool life over M2-HSS (easier to profile than V3-HSS).

| V3-HSS Grade
|
| Exta long wearing grade with Vanadium, wears about 30% longer than T1-HSS.
|
| RW Hard Coat HSS
|
| HSS coated with a diamond chrome coating to provide a longer wearing cutting edge. Wears like Black Nitride and even longer in wet or acidic woods.
