Exta long wearing grade with Vanadium, wears about 30% longer than T1-HSS.
V3-HSS is special steel created for really tough applications. This steel is the step below carbide. It is better than M3+HSS, and more like M42-HSS. Higher levels of Vanadium increase this steels wear life. Note this steel is Hard (67 HRc Hardness). Use flood coolant when cutting and profiling to avoid decarb enbrittlement.
